TO ORDER HOUSE PLANS
Preliminary plans include floor plans and four elevations. We
price these by the square footage. Whatever you pay for these
preliminary designs, we consider a design deposit and it can
be applied toward the cost of the purchase of a building package
from Cedar Log of Montana.
After your drawings for your home are completed you are entitled
to one major set of floor plan revisions. Charges apply to all
additional work. Cedar Log of Montana will provide preliminary
drawings to use for the purpose of obtaining contractor quotes,
appraisals, building permits, for the lender as part of a loan
application, etc.
We produce complete plan sets after you approve the draft and
final drawings are delivered after we receive your production
deposit.
HOUSE PACKAGE ORDER REQUIREMENTS
Before ordering your
house package, you need to first enter into a materials sales
package agreement.As the buyer, you need to sign and accept your
preliminary plans. A deposit is due when you sign the materials
sales package agreement and the balance is then due before shipping.
SHIPPING
While the cost of shipping your house package is not included
in our material package prices, we will estimate how many loads
will be required and provide a current shipping cost estimate.
We make every effort to arrange the shipment of your house package
at the most favorable rates available. To obtain duty-free status,
we arrange for your house to be shipped all at once. Freight
is not included in the package and is charged C.O.D. The shipping
carrier provides typical cargo insurance. Any claims for miscellaneous
damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading and handled directly
by the buyer with the shipping carrier.
OUR PACKAGE IS COMPLETE
While some companies
do not supply all materials needed to complete a home, we can
provide all of the materials you will need to build your log
home. When you buy our package, you won't need to budget any
additional time or money for stressful shopping trips to purchase
additional materials.
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Cedar Log of Montana can provide
construction supervision services on all projects. We can review
your project and provide guidance to you or your contractor.
If you so choose, Cedar Log of Montana is highly qualified to
serve as your building contractor as well.
FINANCING
Financing is easy
on Cedar Log of Montana's log homes and that financing can be
handled at any bank or mortgage company. Also, in-house financing

CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATE
Because we purchase Western Red
Cedar from Canada in Canadian currency, the favorable exchange
rate has made this one of the best times in history to build
with red cedar. The rate of exchange can fluctuate but has held
steady at about .85 cents Canadian for every US dollar spent.
Keep this in mind that if you receive a package quote for example
of $100,000, that would be about $85,000 in US dollars. To see
